![]() ![]() And (assuming that does happen) even if the state's rules are weird and annoying, at least they'll (hopefully) be uniform - that seems better than having a bunch of brewers/bar owners/restaurateurs making their own judgment calls on matters of public health and then implementing a million different janky fixes to a problem they don't fully understand.** Īnyway we're not here to rehash a bunch of stuff you've already heard (unless you're under the aforementioned rock, in which case you should probably just skip this paragraph and/or stay under that rock for a while) because the current Issue Of The Day is "vaccine passports" and to be honest we've got a lot of complicated feelings about those, but the tl dr is that we're not requiring them yet, with a big emphasis on the word "yet." Among other things, we're expecting that at some point - probably sooner rather than later - we'll be getting new rules from The Gubbermint about this, and we'd rather not invent our own system only to have to redo it from scratch two weeks later when the state issues its own well-intentioned-but-frankly-perplexing* set of guidelines. Unless you've been living under a particularly accommodating rock these past few weeks/months (which honestly sounds like a good idea from a health/safety standpoint), there's been some less-than-stellar (read: horrifying, or at least horrifying-adjacent) news about this whole pandemic situation.
